Show the model answer
(a) After His baptism Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted (Matthew 4:1).
He fasted forty days and forty nights and was hungry (Matthew 4:2).
The tempter said, "If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread" (Matthew 4:3).
Jesus answered, "Man shall not live by bread alone" (Matthew 4:4).
The devil set Him on the pinnacle of the temple and told Him to throw Himself down, quoting Psalm 91 (Matthew 4:5-6).
Jesus said, "You shall not tempt the Lord your God" (Matthew 4:7).
The devil showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and offered them if He would fall down and worship him (Matthew 4:8-9).
Then Jesus said, "Begone, Satan!" (Matthew 4:10).
(b) Any three: use scripture to resist temptation; worship God alone; do not test God; fasting and prayer give strength; temptation can be overcome; spiritual things come before material needs.
Narrate Matthew 4:1-10, then three lessons.
