Show the model answer
(a) Jesus said, "I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven" (Matthew 18:22).
He told of a king who settled accounts with his servants (Matthew 18:23).
One owed ten thousand talents; the king ordered him sold with his family (Matthew 18:24-25).
He begged for patience; the king pitied him and forgave the whole debt (Matthew 18:26-27).
He then seized a fellow servant who owed him a hundred denarii and threw him into prison (Matthew 18:28-30).
The other servants told the king, who called him wicked (Matthew 18:31-32).
The king delivered him to the jailers until he paid all (Matthew 18:33-34).
"So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart" (Matthew 18:35).
(b) Any three: God's forgiveness (Matthew 6:14); peace of mind; restored relationships; good health and freedom from bitterness; a good example to others; answered prayers.
Narrate Matthew 18:21-35, then three benefits.
