Show the model answer
(a) Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptised by John (Matthew 3:13).
John tried to prevent Him: "I need to be baptized by you" (Matthew 3:14).
Jesus said, "Let it be so now; for thus it is fitting for us to fulfil all righteousness" (Matthew 3:15).
When He came up from the water the heavens opened (Matthew 3:16).
He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on Him (Matthew 3:16).
A voice from heaven said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased" (Matthew 3:17).
(b) Any two: it is a sign of repentance and forgiveness (Acts 2:38); it marks entry into the church; it signifies dying and rising with Christ to new life (Romans 6:3-4); it is obedience to Christ's command (Matthew 28:19); it identifies the believer with Christ.
Narrate Matthew 3:13-17, then two points.
