Show the model answer
(a) As the number of disciples increased, the Hellenists murmured against the Hebrews because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution (Acts 6:1).
The twelve called the disciples together and said it was not right to give up preaching to serve tables (Acts 6:2).
They asked them to pick seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and wisdom, to be appointed to this duty (Acts 6:3).
The apostles would devote themselves to prayer and the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4).
The whole multitude was pleased and chose Stephen, Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas and Nicolaus (Acts 6:5).
They set them before the apostles, who prayed and laid hands on them (Acts 6:6).
The word of God increased and many priests believed (Acts 6:7).
(b) Any three: complaints should be handled fairly and quickly; leaders should delegate work; choose leaders of good character and spiritual maturity; care for the needy (widows) is part of church life; involve members in choosing leaders; unity and fairness help the church grow.
Narrate Acts 6:1-7, then three lessons.
