Model answer

(a) After feeding the five thousand, Jesus made the disciples go by boat to Bethsaida while He dismissed the crowd (Mark 6:45).
He went up on the mountain to pray (Mark 6:46).
In the evening the boat was out on the sea; He saw them distressed in rowing, for the wind was against them (Mark 6:47-48).
About the fourth watch of the night He came to them walking on the sea; He meant to pass by them (Mark 6:48).
They thought it was a ghost and cried out in terror (Mark 6:49-50).
He said, "Take heart, it is I; have no fear" (Mark 6:50).
He got into the boat and the wind ceased; they were utterly astounded (Mark 6:51).
They had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened (Mark 6:52).
(b) Any two: shows Jesus' power over nature and His divinity; Jesus cares for His followers in trouble; Jesus' presence brings peace in life's storms; faith overcomes fear; Jesus prays and acts.

Explanation

Narrate Mark 6:45-52, then two points.
