Model answer

(a) Joseph, sold into Egypt, served Potiphar faithfully (Genesis 39:1-6).
Potiphar's wife falsely accused him and he was put in prison (Genesis 39:7-20).
The keeper put him in charge of the prisoners (Genesis 39:21-23).
Pharaoh's butler and baker were imprisoned and dreamed; Joseph interpreted their dreams; the butler was restored and the baker hanged (Genesis 40:1-22).
The butler forgot Joseph for two years (Genesis 40:23; 41:1).
Pharaoh dreamed of cows and ears of grain; none could interpret (Genesis 41:1-8).
The butler remembered Joseph and told Pharaoh (Genesis 41:9-13).
Pharaoh sent for Joseph; he shaved, changed clothes and came before Pharaoh (Genesis 41:14).
(b) Any three: integrity and self-control; faithfulness in small duties; giving glory to God; wisdom and planning; forgiveness; hard work; caring for the people in hard times.
