Show the model answer
(a) The earth was without form and void, dark, with the Spirit of God over the waters (Genesis 1:2).
God created light and separated day and night (Genesis 1:3-5).
He made the firmament dividing the waters (Genesis 1:6-8).
He gathered the waters into seas, made dry land appear and caused plants and fruit trees to grow (Genesis 1:9-13).
He set the sun, moon and stars to give light and mark seasons (Genesis 1:14-19).
He filled the seas with creatures and the sky with birds, blessing them to multiply (Genesis 1:20-23).
He made land animals, then man and woman in His image to rule and fill the earth (Genesis 1:24-28).
He gave plants as food; all was very good; He rested on the seventh day (Genesis 1:29–2:3).
(b) Any four: deforestation and bush burning; pollution of air, water and land; oil spills; overfishing and poaching; illegal mining and erosion; dumping refuse; misuse of chemicals; wars and destruction.
Trace Genesis 1 day by day, then four ways.
