Show the model answer
(a) Women from Galilee watched the crucifixion from afar (Matthew 27:55-56).
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary saw where Jesus was laid (Mark 15:47).
They prepared spices and ointments (Luke 23:56).
Early on the first day they went to the tomb to anoint Him (Mark 16:1-2).
They found the stone rolled away and the angel told them He had risen (Mark 16:4-6).
They were told to tell the disciples and Peter (Mark 16:7).
Matthew: Jesus met them; they held His feet and worshipped Him (Matthew 28:9-10).
Luke: Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James and others told the apostles (Luke 24:10).
(b) Any three: teaching (Sunday school); evangelism; choir and worship; caring for the poor and sick; prayer groups; leadership and administration; supporting the church financially.
Outline the women's roles in all three Gospels, then three roles today.
