Show the model answer
(a) After the Last Supper Jesus and the disciples went to the Mount of Olives; He foretold they would all fall away and Peter would deny Him (Mark 14:26-31).
At Gethsemane He took Peter, James and John and prayed in distress, "remove this cup from me; yet not what I will" (Mark 14:32-36).
He found the disciples sleeping three times (Mark 14:37-41).
Judas came with a crowd with swords and clubs from the chief priests, scribes and elders (Mark 14:43).
Judas kissed Him as the sign, and they seized Him (Mark 14:44-46).
One bystander drew a sword and cut off the ear of the high priest's slave (Mark 14:47).
Jesus asked why they came as against a robber when He taught daily in the temple; the scriptures must be fulfilled (Mark 14:48-49).
All the disciples forsook Him and fled (Mark 14:50).
A young man in a linen cloth followed; they seized him but he left the cloth and ran away naked (Mark 14:51-52).
(b) Any four: fear of danger or persecution; selfishness; greed or betrayal for money; lack of true commitment; misunderstanding; pressure from others; shame.
Narrate Mark 14:26-52, then four reasons.
