Model answer

(a)(i) Light: the earth was without form and void, darkness was on the deep and the Spirit of God moved over the waters (Genesis 1:2).
God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light (Genesis 1:3).
God saw the light was good and separated it from the darkness (Genesis 1:4).
He called the light Day and the darkness Night — the first day (Genesis 1:5).
(ii) Woman: God said it is not good for man to be alone; He would make a helper fit for him (Genesis 2:18).
No fit helper was found among the animals the man named (Genesis 2:19-20).
God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, took one of his ribs and closed up the place with flesh (Genesis 2:21).
He made the rib into a woman and brought her to the man (Genesis 2:22).
The man said, "This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman" (Genesis 2:23).
(b) Any three: God is all-powerful (creates by His word); God is orderly; God is good (all He made was good); God is sovereign over everything; God is loving and provides for man; God is eternal, existing before creation; God is wise.
