Show the model answer
(a) Naaman, commander of the Syrian army, a great man by whom God gave Syria victory, was a leper (2 Kings 5:1).
A little Israelite maid told her mistress the prophet in Samaria could cure him (2 Kings 5:2-3).
The king of Syria sent him with a letter, ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold and ten festal garments to the king of Israel (2 Kings 5:5).
The king of Israel tore his clothes, thinking Syria sought a quarrel (2 Kings 5:7).
Elisha asked for Naaman to be sent to him (2 Kings 5:8).
Naaman came; Elisha sent a messenger: "Wash in the Jordan seven times" (2 Kings 5:9-10).
Naaman was angry, expecting a ceremony, and preferred the rivers of Damascus (2 Kings 5:11-12).
His servants persuaded him; he washed seven times and was clean (2 Kings 5:13-14).
He confessed that there is no God in all the earth but in Israel; Elisha refused his gift (2 Kings 5:15-16).
(b) Any three: humility; obedience to God's word; God's power and grace for all nations; gratitude; listen to wise counsel even from servants; God's gifts cannot be bought; witnessing (the maid).
Narrate 2 Kings 5:1-16, then three lessons.
