Model answer

(a) All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
No one is justified by works of the law; the law shows sin (Romans 3:20).
The righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe (Romans 3:22).
Believers are justified by God's grace as a gift through the redemption in Christ, whose death was an expiation by His blood (Romans 3:24-25).
Justification is by faith apart from works of the law, so no one can boast (Romans 3:27-28).
God is God of Jews and Gentiles alike and justifies both by faith (Romans 3:29-30).
Abraham was justified by faith before circumcision (Romans 4:3, 9-11).
Justified by faith, we have peace with God (Romans 5:1).
Christ died for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8).
(b) Any two: faith in Jesus Christ; belief that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 4:24; 10:9); repentance; confession of Jesus as Lord (Romans 10:9-10); acceptance of God's grace.
