Show the model answer
(a) When the Lord God made the earth and heavens, there was no plant, no rain and no man to till the ground; a mist watered the earth (Genesis 2:4-6).
God formed man of dust and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; man became a living being (Genesis 2:7).
God planted a garden in Eden and put the man there, with trees pleasant to see and good for food, the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:8-9).
A river watered the garden and divided into four (Genesis 2:10-14).
Man was to till and keep the garden and could eat of every tree except the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:15-17).
God formed the animals and birds and brought them to the man, who named them (Genesis 2:19-20).
God made woman from the man's rib and brought her to him; they became one flesh (Genesis 2:21-24).
(b) Any four: life itself (breath of life); a home in the garden of Eden; food from every tree; water from the river; work and purpose (tilling the garden); authority over animals (naming them); a companion and wife; freedom with clear guidance.
Narrate Genesis 2:4-25, then four comforts.
