The church at Antioch had prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen and Saul (Acts 13:1).
While they were worshipping and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them" (Acts 13:2).
After fasting and praying they laid hands on them and sent them off (Acts 13:3).
Sent by the Spirit, they went to Seleucia and sailed to Cyprus, with John Mark as helper (Acts 13:4-5).
At Salamis they preached in the Jewish synagogues (Acts 13:5).
At Paphos they met Bar-Jesus (Elymas), a Jewish magician and false prophet, attached to the proconsul Sergius Paulus (Acts 13:6-7).
The proconsul wanted to hear God's word, but Elymas opposed them, trying to turn him from the faith (Acts 13:7-8).
Paul, filled with the Spirit, rebuked him as a son of the devil and declared he would be blind for a time; mist and darkness fell on him (Acts 13:9-11).
The proconsul saw this, believed, and was astonished at the teaching of the Lord (Acts 13:12).
Describe Acts 13:1-3, then Salamis and Paphos.
