Model answer

Silver leads the pirates with Jim tied on a rope, using Flint's map.
They find the skeleton (Allardyce) pointing the way.
A voice singing Flint's song frightens them (Ben Gunn).
They reach the spot: the cache is empty.
Pirates turn on Silver and Jim; shots from Livesey, Gray and Ben Gunn scatter them.
Ben Gunn had already dug up the treasure and hidden it in his cave.
Treasure carried to the ship; survivors sail home; three pirates marooned; Silver escapes with some money.

Explanation

Narrate the hunt clearly from start to end.
