(a) Wind; solar energy (sunlight); rainfall/water vapour; atmospheric gases (oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, ozone).
(b) Wind: drives windmills and wind turbines for power; dries crops and clothes; disperses seeds and aids pollination; used by sailing ships; brings rain-bearing air.
Solar energy: warms the earth; needed for photosynthesis; solar power and drying of crops; source of vitamin D.
Rain: water for drinking, farming and industry; feeds rivers and underground water; generates HEP via rivers.
Gases: oxygen for breathing; carbon dioxide for photosynthesis; nitrogen for plant protein; ozone shields against ultra-violet rays.
Give at least three uses for each resource you choose.
