Model answer

(a) Any six: deep water/safe harbour; berths/quays; cranes and cargo-handling equipment; warehouses and bonded stores; good road and rail links; dry docks/repair facilities; customs and port offices; security; lighthouses/navigation aids; fuel and water supply; container terminals.
(b) Any four: moves goods from producers to consumers (place utility); widens the market; encourages specialisation and mass production; moves raw materials to factories; creates employment; helps keep prices stable by moving goods to scarce areas; aids foreign trade.

Explanation

Seaport facilities cover ships, cargo and links inland.
