(a) Any five, explained: collection and delivery of letters (ordinary, registered, express/EMS); parcel post; postal orders and money orders for sending money; private mail bags and post office boxes; poste restante – keeping mail for travellers to collect; sale of stamps and stationery, philatelic services; savings services (post office savings); speed post/express mail service; business reply and franking services; payment of pensions and collection of some bills and fees; agency services such as sale of licences.
(b) Any five: speed – fast delivery, often next day; door-to-door delivery and pick-up; safety and security of items, with tracking; proof of delivery (signature); delivery both within the country and abroad; handles documents and parcels of various sizes; reliability; some offer insurance cover for items.
