(a) Abstain from passions of the flesh as aliens and exiles (1 Peter 2:11).
Maintain good conduct among the Gentiles so they glorify God (1 Peter 2:12).
Be subject to every human institution (1 Peter 2:13-14).
Silence the ignorance of foolish men by doing right (1 Peter 2:15).
Live as free men, servants of God (1 Peter 2:16).
Honour all men (1 Peter 2:17).
Wives may win unbelieving husbands by their conduct (1 Peter 3:1-2).
Do not return evil for evil (1 Peter 3:9).
Always be ready to give a reason for your hope with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience (1 Peter 3:15-16).
