All who heard were amazed, since he had come to arrest believers (Acts 9:21).
He grew stronger and confounded the Jews by proving Jesus is the Christ (Acts 9:22).
After many days the Jews plotted to kill him (Acts 9:23).
They watched the gates day and night to kill him, but the plot became known to him (Acts 9:24).
His disciples took him by night and let him down over the wall, lowering him in a basket (Acts 9:25).
He went to Jerusalem, where Barnabas brought him to the apostles (Acts 9:26-27).
(b) Any three: jealousy and envy; hatred; competition and rivalry; revenge; greed; religious or ethnic intolerance; fear of being exposed.
