Show the model answer
(a) Those who seized Jesus led Him to Caiaphas the high priest, where scribes and elders had gathered (Matthew 26:57).
The chief priests and council sought false testimony to put Him to death but found none, though many came (Matthew 26:59-60).
Two said He claimed He could destroy the temple and build it in three days (Matthew 26:61).
Jesus was silent (Matthew 26:62-63).
The high priest said, "I adjure you by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God" (Matthew 26:63).
Jesus said, "You have said so… hereafter you will see the Son of man seated at the right hand of Power" (Matthew 26:64).
The high priest tore his robes and said, "He has uttered blasphemy" (Matthew 26:65).
They answered, "He deserves death", spat in His face, struck Him and mocked Him (Matthew 26:66-68).
(b) Peter followed at a distance to the high priest's courtyard and sat with the guards to see the end (Matthew 26:58).
A maid said he was with Jesus; he denied it before all (Matthew 26:69-70).
Another maid said the same; he denied with an oath, "I do not know the man" (Matthew 26:71-72).
Bystanders said his accent betrayed him; he cursed and swore he did not know Him (Matthew 26:73-74).
The cock crowed; Peter remembered Jesus' words, went out and wept bitterly (Matthew 26:74-75).
Narrate Matthew 26:57-75 for both parts.
