Show the model answer
Every person should be subject to the governing authorities, because all authority comes from God (Romans 13:1).
Whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed and will incur judgement (Romans 13:2).
Rulers are not a terror to good conduct but to bad; do good and you will receive approval (Romans 13:3).
The ruler is God's servant for your good, bearing the sword to punish wrongdoers (Romans 13:4).
Be subject not only to avoid punishment but for the sake of conscience (Romans 13:5).
Pay taxes, revenue, respect and honour to whom they are due (Romans 13:6-7).
Owe no one anything except to love one another (Romans 13:8).
Pray for kings and all in authority (1 Timothy 2:1-2).
Application (any three): obeying traffic and other laws; paying taxes and bills honestly; respecting and praying for leaders; voting and taking part peacefully in elections; avoiding riots, cultism and violence; reporting crime to the police.
Explain Romans 13:1-7 point by point, then three practical applications.
