(a) Any four: refrigeration/cold storage; incubation; milking machines; feed milling and mixing; drying of produce; shelling; water pumping; lighting of poultry houses; processing (threshing, parboiling)
(b)(i) Electricity – advantages: clean, fast, reliable for stationary work, easy to operate, versatile; disadvantages: expensive to install, risk of electric shock and fire, irregular supply, cannot be used for field operations
(ii) Animal – advantages: cheap to buy and keep, works on rough or wet land, gives manure, reduces drudgery, can carry produce from inaccessible areas; disadvantages: low power output, slow, needs feeding and guidance, gets tired and sick, needs training
Three of each for both power sources.
