(b) Any six: small mammal (monogastric, with large caecum – pseudo-ruminant); very prolific (litter of 4–12, several litters a year); short gestation (about 31 days); practises coprophagy; herbivorous; matures early (about 4–6 months); long ears and short tail; meat is white, low in fat and cholesterol; needs little space
