Any three:
(a) Government sets up industries or industrial estates in chosen places, gives tax holidays, loans, power and roads, protects with tariffs, and spreads industries for balanced development (e.g. Ajaokuta steel, refineries)
(b) Bulky, perishable or fragile products (bread, soft drinks, cement, beer) are made near markets; large towns like Lagos attract industries to cut transport costs
(c) Towns have power, water, transport, labour, banks, markets and services; external economies; ports for imported raw materials
(d) Consumer industries (food, drinks, textiles, soap) need less capital and simpler skills, have a ready local market, use local raw materials and give quick returns; heavy industries need huge capital and technology
Write short notes, each with an example.
