Show the model answer
(a) Love one another earnestly from a pure heart (1 Peter 1:22).
Put away all malice, guile, insincerity, envy and slander (1 Peter 2:1).
Honour all, love the brotherhood (1 Peter 2:17).
Have unity of spirit, sympathy, love of the brethren, a tender heart and a humble mind (1 Peter 3:8).
Do not return evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but bless (1 Peter 3:9).
Above all hold unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).
Practise hospitality ungrudgingly (1 Peter 4:9).
Use your gifts to serve one another (1 Peter 4:10).
Elders tend the flock willingly and as examples; the young be subject to elders; all clothe themselves with humility (1 Peter 5:2-5).
(b) Any three: leadership tussles and struggles for position; doctrinal differences; tribalism; quarrels over money and church property; pride and jealousy; gossip; favouritism.
Summarise Peter's teaching, then three causes.
