(a) NDLEA means National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, set up in 1989 to fight the production, sale and use of illegal drugs.
(b) Drug abuse is the use of drugs without medical prescription, in excess, or for purposes other than intended, including taking illegal drugs such as cannabis, cocaine and heroin.

Public enlightenment on the dangers of drugs (media, schools, religious bodies).
Strict enforcement of drug laws and punishment of dealers.
